Saralynn Brown

Clinician

Saralynn received her Bachelor of Social Work from Appalachian State University and her Masters of Science in Social Work from University of Tennessee. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate and has been working in mental health since 2020.

Saralynn began her career in mental health working in Community-Based Programs providing therapeutic support for high risk youth/adolescents with problem sexual behaviors and their families. In her most recent role as a Program Manager, she provided staff support, community and stakeholder outreach, and client clinical support. She utilizes evidence-based practices when providing care to individuals and is always looking for ways to increase competency to ensure she is providing the best care possible.

Before beginning her journey in mental health, Saralynn worked as an Emergency Dispatcher and completed her undergraduate internship with a Community Paramedics program. As the daughter, sister, and spouse of first responders, the wellbeing and support received by those serving our communities is a priority for her and she is excited for her two worlds of Emergency Services and Mental Health to merge working with this population.
