Anastasia Branstetter
Clinician
Anastasia obtained my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UNC Charlotte, and her undergraduate is in Psychology from UNC Pembroke. Anastasia gained experience from her internship, which was at an inpatient hospitalization unit, that allowed her to work first hand with cases of anxiety, depression, suicidality, and psychotic disorders. Her theoretical approach stems from cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused. However, she believes in tailoring to the individual client in order to have their needs and goals met.
She comes from a military family, so she understands the stigma surrounding mental health in the first responder community. She has seen how it impacts the people around her and her goal is create a space for those who serve us to seek help. She is excited to be able to learn from first responders and support them as they support the community.
Anastasia is embedded at the 911 Dispatch Center and EMS in Buncombe County, NC and with the Great Smokey Mountains National Park.
