Emilee Landreth
Clinical Intern
Emilee is currently a student at Tulane University pursuing a dual Master's degree in Disaster and Collective Trauma Social Work as well as Disaster Resiliency Leadership.
She grew up in a Military and First Responder family, so all responders have a place near and dear to her heart. Emilee worked as a 9-1-1 Telecommunicator in Durham in 2008 for almost 3 years. Since then, she’s worked with the Transylvania County Emergency Services as a 9-1-1 Telecommunicator.
While in Durham, Emilee received a substantial amount of training in handling crisis situations for the general public. She also received training in Individual and Group Critical Incident Stress Management.
Emilee sees there is a need in the responder community for service and as an adamant supporter, she wants to help fill that need. She believes in the embedded approach and having a relationship with the people that we serve.
